Profile

CIT Ltd (the lead SME) has 16 full time permanent employees and a turnover of €3 million. CIT specialise in applying Information & Imaging technology for the identification of profit improvement opportunities for their clients through better X-ray NDT software and associated systems. CIT is a leading supplier of advanced digital computed radiography systems and software and is almost unique in being one of the very few European SMEs in this specialised market.

Participation

CIT have a large technical role in the development of the Computed Radiographic (CR) system for use at high radiation levels in industrial environments with it’s uniquely integrated phosphor screen scanner/reader. In this project CIT will act as the Lead SME which will comprise project management, technical advice, system specifications, testing and further development as well as exploitation management.

HEDRad is a collaboration between the following organisations: BAM (Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing), Blohm & Voss Inspection Gervice GmbH (BIS GmbH), CIT Limited, EON Kernkraft GmbH, I Kow How Informatics SA, Nexus Engineering, Technical University of Sofia and TWI Ltd.
